Beaver Street Enterprise Center
Located in the Railyard Business District, the Beaver Street Enterprise Center (BSEC) has been a cornerstone for local entrepreneurs since 2003. BSEC offers affordable office spaces, comprehensive training programs, mentorship, and access to capital. Over the years, it has helped launch more than 750 businesses and created over 4,500 jobs, contributing significantly to Jacksonville’s economic development.
Jacksonville Women’s Business Center
The Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) is dedicated to advancing the success of women entrepreneurs. JWBC provides a range of programs, including the Entrepreneur Certificate Program, which covers essential topics like customer development, financial matters, and venture leadership. Additionally, the ATHENAPowerLink® program connects women business owners with a panel of advisors to help achieve business goals.
Launch Jax
Launch Jax focuses on providing education, mentorship, and connections to help small businesses thrive. Their signature program, Launch 180, offers selected entrepreneurs 180 days of support, including cash reserves, professional services, and operational guidance to ensure a stable launch.
Jacksonville Urban League’s Entrepreneurship Center
The Jacksonville Urban League partners with the National Urban League to offer services aimed at assisting entrepreneurs and existing businesses. Resources include one-on-one coaching, business strategy development, marketing and branding support, access to capital, and networking opportunities.
Small Business Executive Program
Offered by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, the Small Business Executive Program is designed for CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Presented over four sessions, the program helps participants assess their company’s position, develop long-term strategies, and create practical action plans.
City of Jacksonville’s Entrepreneurship Workforce Development Center
In May 2025, the city opened its first Entrepreneurship Workforce Development Center at 865 Golfair Blvd. This center offers practical entrepreneurship education and career readiness support, bringing together local institutions, nonprofits, corporations, small businesses, and community partners to create a sustainable workforce development hub.
